Elaine Harvey's April Demonstration

Gordon Bashant has chosen top, local artists for our demonstrations this year. He did not less, but more, in his selection for the April program. Elaine Harvey is recognized nationally for her work in watercolor and acrylic. She uses traditional and experimental techniques, painting and collage in a style that combines realistic and abstract elements. Elaine has served on the boards of the National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, San Diego Watercolor Society, San Diego Museum of Art and as a delegate to the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies.

She has acted as juror for the National Watercolor Society, Fine Arts Institute of the San Bernardino Museum, Southwest Watercolor Association, Central Coast Watercolor Society and the San Diego Watercolor Society. Her work and writings have been published in and on the cover of the Artist’s Magazine. Elaine finds time to teach at the Athenaeum in La Jolla, the Desert Museum in Palm Springs and for art groups across the United States, and most recently, abroad.
