Linda Moore and Joanne Richart of Stamping Details

Linda Moore, who works at Stamping Details, 14009 Midland Road, with her associate, Joanne Richart, create a vibrant entrance into the twin worlds of stamping and art.

The demonstration was a grand overview by an exceptional teacher, a former Lieutenant Commander in the Navy, who started stamping as a means of cutting down on Christmas card expenses and now has 4,500 stamps.

About the Artist

When experimenting or learning a new technique and you ask yourself if something will work, then you MUST try it or you will never grow as an artist.  For me the joy is in the journey of creating not necessarily the end result. 

Linda Moore

Linda is a self-taught mix media artist who loves to spend every moment she can creating.  Her passion is rubber stamping because it offers so much versatility. 

She began stamping in the fall of 1996 and has taught a variety of classes including stamping on terra cotta pots, domino wire art necklaces, style stone pins, cloth doll art, paper clay and various card classes.  Over the years she has continued taking classes and has been influenced by many talented artists.  With each class she adds a new dimension to her own art work. 

Her domino wire art necklaces were featured on the front cover of Expression Magazine March/April 2005.  Other works have appeared in Belle Armoire Jewelry, Volume 2 in March 2007, Somerset Home, Volume 2, 2007, Art Doll Quarterly in Spring 2007, Rancho Magazine in July 2006, CNA Magazine in November 2005, Vamp Stamp, and Rubber Stamper Magazines.

Linda concluded a 27 year career in the U. S. Navy in February 2003.
