Shant Beudjekian
My goal in the up coming demo is to teach youngsters and people of all ages how to see through sketching and letting go of their creativity in Drawing still life, portraits and landscapes with the medium of charcoal with the use of a waterbase medium to blend the charcoal with. Moreover, depending on their stages of development I would give an introductory orientation on how to capture the elements of shadow and light . To me the medium of charcoal is such a magnificent tool to build confidence over other mediums that I favor this medium to be the one that allows beginner artists to explore various levels of values and transparency while being able to integrate both elements in one drawing.
