Landscape Painting on Yupo

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Minnie will be using Yupo, a plastic type of paper, to demonstrate the special effects that can be achieved with watercolor paint on a slick surface. She will show how to manipulate the paint into a landscape. Minnie will answer your questions as she moves through the process.

SUPPLY LIST:

1- Yupo sheets, about 9x12, about 8 sheets per person. Bigger is ok, but not smaller.

2- Several support cardboards, about an inch larger than the Yupo sheets. Several, because we will be working on one painting while others are drying.

3- watercolors, any brand is fine

4- watercolor brushes, flat and round, at least Large, Medium and Small sizes of each.

5- paper towels

6- deep water container

7- a couple of sponges, any sponge, old, used, is ok.

8- a small spray bottle with alcohol, minimum 90%

9- masking tape

10- a daring attitude, creativity, and a Big Smile. All work done in my workshops come with a guarantee: they will not be exhibited in the Louvre in Paris this year.

Cost is $40 for members and $50 for non-members
