Celebrating Earth's Elements

A show of  art made from materials of the earth: Clay, Glass, Wood, Metal, Fiber 

Open to most subject matter and all sizes. 

Limit of 3 pieces of art per artist.

Work accepted in the gallery

January 25 and 26, 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM

There is an entry fee of $10 per submitted work of art for non members of BAI.

Members are free.

Show will run February 1- 23, 2020

Opening Reception February 1, 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Reception is free to members and participating artists. Non members will be charged $5/person prior to 6:00 PM. No charge after 6:00.

Call to Muralists for Fix Auto Central Ramona Mural


The Chabad Campus of Life community in Scripps Ranch is looking for an art teacher to teach adults watercolor or acrylic painting.  These are mostly young working people with an interest in art but little or no training.     The class is schedule is flexible but would probably be held once or twice a month.     

Lori Chase is currently teaching an introduction to watercolor class as a volunteer and have found the people here to be enthusiastic and very grateful for the class.

Dr. D’Laney, Dean of Students,  would meet with anyone interested in teaching here and would discuss instructor fees, class schedules, plans, and whatever.

The Fallbrook Art Association now has their own gallery, and would like to invite all artists to enter their monthly shows. "The Gallery”, as it’s called, is well lit and freshly painted. It’s in the heart of downtown Fallbrook at 127 N. Main Ave. Phone: 760 645 0491. Entry fees are $10 per entry under 35” and $15 per entry 35”-48” for members. Guest artists $15 one entry, $25 two entries, 35”-48” add $5 each. Artists are required to sit the show either a morning or afternoon shift. The fee for those artists who are unable to take a shift is $35. For more information go to;

The Oceanside Museum of Art invites NCSFA Members: Plein Air Paint Out first Sundays 9-12 - Open to artists at any level, each non-instructed event is held at a different location.   Follow OMA @oceansidemuseum on Instagram and Facebook for location and event updates.

Also, after the Plein Air on the First  Sunday of the month, 12:00-2:00pm. Coffee and Conversation with OMA Artist Alliancet, 704 Pier View Way, 92054. OMA is inviting the NCSFA. "First Sunday Coffee and Conversation" is a monthly event free for all artists and creatives. It's a chance to get together at the museum for casual mingling and networking over drinks and snacks. Our goal is to encourage artists to keep up with what's going on in the North County/greater San Diego arts community and to learn about arts organizations and other resources. No reservations are necessary.

City of San Marcos and San Marcos Art Association invite artists to exhibit at the Hearth Gallery, San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Dr. San Marcos 92069. Work displayed at 2 month intervals.

City of Encinitas Arts Division oversees three civic galleries: the Civic Center Gallery, the Encinitas Library Gallery, and the Encinitas Community Center Gallery (with 2-D and 3-D exhibits at all locations). Applications for 2018 usually open January 2017 until the fall. The Arts Division is seeking artists to mount 56 exhibits in the city's three art galleries in 2017. Exhibit lengths are either 6 weeks or 2 months, depending on the location. No gallery commission. They promote your exhibit via print and social media, in the Encinitas Arts & Events Calendar, and e-Newsletter, that is sent to 16,500 subscribers each week. Art Prof is a free, online educational platform for visual arts created by RISD Adjunct Professor Clara Lieu and Thomas Lerra from WGBH Boston. Their mission is to provide equal access to high quality art education for people of all ages and means. Art Prof provides a unique opportunity for a global community to access a free visual arts education for people of all ages and means. In most schools, visual arts programs are meager or simply do not exist. Private art classes and higher education programs are not affordable for most people.
