GAVIN JIN from Westview High School is
the winner of NCSFA 2023 Art Scholarship.
He will attend Rhode Island School of Design in
the fall. He is a well rounded student. He has
participated in school plays, he sings, he’s on the
swim team, and he is a lifeguard for the YMCA.
He has also, volunteered for nonprofit groups and
he has taught art to elementary students. He
enjoys acrylic and pencil as his favorite media and
he is looking forward to advancing his artwork.
He would like to be an art professor. He is also
interested in working in a museum or gallery as
possible career opportunities. Congratulations!
