NCSFA MEMBERSHIP EXHIBITION

This exhibition is an opportunity for all active members of the NCSFA.

If you are not a current member, you may join or renew for $40.00

in order to participate.

Only 2D and original works are eligible. Previous NCSFA

award-winning artwork is excluded.

SIZE REQUIREMENTS: Art work IMAGE must be no smaller than 9” on any side.

Maximum size is 60” on any side and a weight of 75 lbs.

Do not include the frame in this measurement.

FRAMING: No sawtooth hangars. Please see photos and directions on proper

framing on our website.


JUROR: Roberta Dyer
Roberta is an award winning artist and a respected member of many prestigious art societies here and internationally. She has enjoyed many forms of expression but currently focuses on figurative subjects in water-based media and collage


AWARDS: $150.00, Best of Show $100.00, 1st; $75.00, 2nd; $50.00, 3rd.

Also, Honorable Mention Awards will be announced at the reception and artists recognized on our website.


ENTRY FEES: $25.00 for one entry, $5.00 for each additional up to 3 submissions.

Entry fees must be paid by the online deadline of Saturday, March 22, 2025.

At least 60 paintings are necessary to fill the two levels of exhibition space.


ENTRY INFORMATION: Respond on NCSFA.org with your name, title of piece,

size, medium and price. NO photos necessary.

All entries that meet the criteria will be accepted.


PCPA is hanging the show and each painting must have identification.

Please clearly fill out a label for each piece with your NAME, the TITLE,

and PRICE and attach to back of painting.


SALES: PCPA does not charge a commission for sales. However, NCSFA is charging a 20% commission on sales. Besides our usual expenses for an exhibition, we will have charges for labor, security, food, servers, and other fees

associated with a public venue.


NOTE: NCSFA assumes no liability for any damage to the artworks submitted for this exhibit. Artwork remains the property of the artist. NCSFA may use the images on our website and newsletter for promotional purposes, with credit to the artist.


IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER


ONLINE DEADLINE with PAYMENT: Saturday, March 22, 2025


DROP OFF: Tuesday, April 1, 2025;  9:00 - 10:30 am
Please make arrangements for someone to bring your work if you are unable during this allotted time period. If you have a new or updated BIO sheet, please bring at this time.
 

PLACE: Poway Center for Performing Arts Member volunteers will be available to take your paintings from the delivery zone at the front doors.

The plan is to make this a quick drop-off process

 

RECEPTION: Sunday, April 13, 2025; 2:00 - 4:00 pm

A very special day for members, guests and the public!
Light refreshments and beverages will be served and our own multi-talented member Barbara Kokaska and her husband will provide musical entertainment for this event.
Member hand painted tiles with easels will be available for

$25.00 during the reception only.
 

PICK UP: Monday, April 28, 2025; 10:00-11:00 am


Plan is to have a quick pick up at the delivery zone with member volunteer crews.
***Participants are needed for assistance with the take-in and take-out processes. This includes helping to take in the drop offs organize the paintings for hanging, and labeling the pieces once hung. Obviously, at the end of the show,

we need help to do the reverse.
More hands=less work, so please offer help with some part of the
exhibition if at all possible. We are expecting a large show so all
hands and feet are appreciated!
