NCSFA MEMBERSHIP EXHIBITION
2026 POWAY Center for the Performing Arts
May 5 - June 1
LOCATION: 15498 Espola Road, Poway, CA
This exhibition is an opportunity for all NCSFA paid members for 2025-26.
(Lapsed dues should be paid by April 25, the deadline for submitting). Non-members
considering joining NCSFA are asked to attend the April 14 general meeting to
introduce themselves and be considered for this exhibition. Dues must be paid at or
before this meeting. (See info on website NCSFA.org/membership
Only 2D and ORIGINAL works are eligible. No digital, AI, prints or other manipulated
images are acceptable. Previous NCSFA award winning artwork is excluded. Please be
mindful that PCPA has the right to censor any artwork that they deem unsuitable for
public viewing by families and children.
SIZE REQUIREMENTS: Art work must be no smaller than 9” on any side. Maximum
size is 60”, up to 75lbs. Please INCLUDE the frame in this measurement.
FRAMING: No sawtooth hangers. Photos and directions on proper framing techniques
may be viewed on our website, NCSFA.org. Look under Shows and Opportunities.
JUROR: TBA soon
AWARDS: 1st, $150.00; 2nd, $125.00; 3rd, $100.00. Also, Honorable Mention Awards will be announced at the reception and artists recognized on our website.
ENTRY FEES: $30.00 for one entry; $5.00 for each additional up to 3 submissions.
Entry fees must be paid by the online deadline of Saturday, April 25. At least 60
paintings are needed to fill the two levels of exhibition space. (Last year there were 81
pieces hanging).
ENTRY INFORMATION: Respond on NCSFA.org with your name, title of each piece,
size, medium and price. NO photos are necessary because each
member entry that meets the criteria will be accepted.
PCPA is hanging the show and each piece MUST be signed and also identified on the
back with your NAME, TITLE, and PRICE on a label, or paper, or business card.
SALES: PCPA does not charge a commission for sales. However, NCSFA is charging a
20% commission on each sale to help cover expenses. (Facility rental, security,
servers, food and other fees for use of a public venue).
Artists will be notified of a possible sale and expected to handle the transaction directly
with the buyer.
N0TE: NCSFA assumes no liability for any damage to the artworks submitted for this
exhibit. Artwork remains the property of the artist. NCSFA may use the images on our
website and newsletter for promotional purposes with credit to the artist.
IMPORTANT DATES:
ONLINE DEADLINE for forms and payment: Saturday, April 25, 2026
DROP OFF: Tuesday, May 5; 9:00-10:00 am.
Please arrange for someone else to bring your pieces if you are unable to fit into this
time slot. If you have a new or updated Bio sheet, please bring at this time.
PLACE: Poway Center for the Performing Arts; Members needed to help with the
drop off at the front delivery zone so the process is quick and easy.
RECEPTION: Sunday , May 24, 2:00-4:00-m.
Light refreshments and beverages will be served for all guests.
Please bring friends and family!
Our member hand-painted tiles will be available for purchase at the reception.
Cost is $25.00 and includes easel.
PICK-UP: Monday, June 1, 9:00-10:00 am. PCPA has no storage so please be prompt
and considerate to volunteers that morning to retrieve your art.
Volunteers needed to assist for dismantling and handing to artists.
“More hand....less work” for all willing and able to make this exhibition successful by
volunteering a few hours. Help is needed for take-in and pick-up; organizing the
paintings for hanging; labeling the art with the stickers once hung. Your help is so
appreciated and it’s fun to be a part of a show.
